Miki Matsuyama is a modern mix media artist, whose underlining passion lies with Interior Design. To create her pieces, she draws her main inspirations from flipping through Architectural magazines and books. However, today, she finds herself more and more sourcing ideas from Instagram; posts of designer chairs and furniture pieces, celebrities’ and bloggers’ aesthetically designed rooms or even world projects from the industry’s leading designers. The platform and it’s ‘Explore’ page, now more than ever, has granted access to thousands of content for Miki to discover and recreate in her own eyes; she finds an image she likes, she clicks and places it under “Saved” and transforms them into a world of her own.
